What inspires you travel? Everyone has a different reason for traveling and finds inspiration to travel in different ways. Want to know what inspires us to travel? That is the main topic for this weeks episode of the Passports and Coffee Podcast. We sit down with our travel bestie, Andrew Dean, for a completely unfiltered and honest travel conversation.
We first want you to meet our travel bestie, Andrew Dean. Andrew, also known as, drewtravels4life on Instagram, is an adventure and travel photographer based out of Denver. His focus is meaningful storytelling that fosters eco friendly tourism and cultural awareness through photography.
We all find inspiration to travel in many different ways. One of the most common ways that most people find inspiration is through social media. Through social media, we are introduced to new destinations, bucket list adventures and travel ideas every day through beautifully edited photos and video.
As travel content creators, not only do we produce beautifully edited content to inspire you to travel but we also get inspiration for our own travels through social media. There has been a handful of times that we have traveled to a destination or decided on an activity abroad because we were influenced and inspired by something we saw online.
If you visually get inspired by what you see online, our friend Andrew is one you want to follow. As a photographer and videographer, he captures beautiful images from his travels that will make you want to add any destination to your bucket list. All of the photos featured in today’s blog post are all taken by Andrew.
Another way to find inspiration is by listening to travel podcasts. We are going to shamelessly plug the Passports and Coffee Podcast. The main goal for our podcast is to give you inspiration and encouragement to travel more even with a 9-5. We love sharing our untold travel stories, travel tips and highlight specific destinations in our destination spotlight episodes in the hopes that you find the inspiration to travel more.
Some other travel podcasts that we recommend include the Ticket 2 Anywhere Podcast and the Travel Wrighter Podcast. These are just two of our favorites but there are many more out there to choose from depending on the travel niche you are looking for.
How else can you find the inspiration to travel? If you are someone who visually finds inspiration, follow travel vloggers on YouTube. We have traveled to some really cool places and also experienced some out of this world activities just because we saw it on YouTube.
Do you prefer to read? Check out blog posts. Blog posts give you so much valuable information, as well as the inspiration to travel. Do a quick search on Pinterest to find blog posts.
Lastly, we recommend talking and engaging with the travel creators you follow online. You will be surprised to find out we love to talk about travel with random people on the internet. We share a very small portion of our travels online and we would love to help you out in anyway that we can. Need advice on a destination? We got you. Want to know if a country is safe for solo female travelers? Don’t worry, we will give you our honest opinions. Looking for an activity to do that isn’t talked about much? We will give you all the details.
So we want to know, what inspires you to travel? And how do you find inspiration for your travels?
We hope that this unfiltered and raw conversation among friends about travel inspires you to book that trip you have been wanting to take or decide to make use of your PTO this year. Because at the end of the day, experiences > things is always the right answer.
Hi travel besties! It's Kayla and Cheraya, your co-hosts of the Passports and Coffee Podcast. We are fellow corporate world millennials looking to escape the 9-5 and are encouraging you to do the same.
