What is GlAMPING
Glamping became popular in 2020 during the pandemic when people were looking for a socially distance vacation and has since gained more popularity on social media with influencers and content creators. So what exactly is glamping? Glamping is the combination of “glamorous” and “camping” that is used to describe a form of camping that involves luxurious accommodations and facilities. This is the type of camping for those who want to escape to nature without having to rough it.
If you do your research, you will find there are many different glamping opportunities throughout the country, but today we are talking about Under Canvas. Under Canvas is an upscale outdoor accommodations with locations throughout the US. They allow you to immerse yourself in the great outdoors with safari-style tents with optional ensuite bathrooms, king size beds and wood burning stoves.

Under Canvas has four different tent styles to choose from and they include: Suite, Stargazer, Deluxe and Safari. Each tent includes different amenities such as an ensuite bathroom and pull-out couch. Traveling with kids? You can add a kids tent with any tent option you choose!
We have stayed at Under Canvas twice, both times staying in the Suite tent. The Suite tent accommodates up to 4 guests, has an ensuite bathroom and pull-out couch.
